Getting to Sjövillan

Sjövillan is located on the island of Rindö in the heart of the Stockholm Archipelago, just a few minutes from Vaxholm. Whether you are travelling by car, public transport or on foot, getting here is simple.

Unlike Kastellet, which is reached by Waxholmsbolaget passenger ferries, Sjövillan is accessed via the free road ferry operated by the Swedish Transport Administration between Vaxholm and Rindö. The ferry operates around the clock and the crossing takes only a few minutes.

By car

Follow Road 274 towards Vaxholm and continue by following the signs for Rindö.

At the Vaxholm ferry terminal, simply drive aboard the free road ferry. Once you arrive on Rindö, Sjövillan is located just a few hundred metres to the left of the ferry landing.

Free parking is available directly outside the property.

By bus and ferry

Travelling from Stockholm is easy by public transport.

Take a bus to Vaxholm and continue with the free road ferry to Rindö. Once you arrive on the island, Sjövillan is only a short walk from the ferry landing.
