To get to the Citadel from Vaxholm require a shorter boat ride in about 2 minutes. We recommend all guests who want to avoid costs for boats to have dinner in Vaxholm before you go over to Kastellet.

Waxholmsbolaget departs from Pier/Dock 1-9, we recommend that you as a guest download Waxholmsbolaget’s app, you can then easily see the name of the boat and from which Pier/Dock the various boats leave.

A single ticket between Vaxholm and Kastellet costs 61kr. For longer stays we recommend to buy a 5 day cards. (Hiking Card)

The boat departs according to the timetable from Vaxholm’s guest harbor outside Systembolaget and the return trip departs from Kastellet’s guest harbor approximately 8 minutes after departure from Vaxholm.
