Directions to Sjövillan

Sjövillan is located on Rindö, in the heart of the Stockholm archipelago, just a few minutes from Vaxholm. You can easily get here by car, public transport, or on foot.

Unlike the Citadel (Kastellet), which is reached via Waxholmsbolaget’s passenger boats, you reach Sjövillan via the Swedish Transport Administration’s free car ferry between Vaxholm and Rindö. The ferry runs around the clock and the crossing takes only a few minutes.

By car

Follow route 274 towards Vaxholm and then follow the signs for Rindö.

At the Vaxholm ferry terminal, drive onto the Swedish Transport Administration’s free car ferry. When you come ashore on Rindö, Sjövillan is located just a few hundred meters to the left of the ferry terminal.

Parking is available directly adjacent to the accommodation.

By bus and ferry

From Stockholm, you can easily travel by bus to Vaxholm.

Then take the free ferry over to Rindö. When you come ashore, Sjövillan is just a few hundred meters from the ferry terminal and is easily reached on foot.
